I am a nerd in training, aspiring Übergeek, and perhaps the most intolerable art snob... but I try not to annoy.

I think Russian is a sexy language... not because of Russian babes, but men like Pushkin, Dostoevsky, Tolstoy. Russian music is cool. Want sex and violence? Rite of Spring! Want terror, depression, and death? Shostakovich!! I love everything Russian except Russian rubles.

I mostly listen to music that is over 50 years old. The best musicians are either dead musicians, or nearly dead.

I like to read. If any of you girls out there's idea of an ideal date is a trip to Chapters, I think we'll get along very well. Ooooo... I fantasize about reading books beside the prettiest girl in the world.

I love Akira Kuroshawa, Darren Aronofsky, Todd Solondz, chan-Woon Park, Stangley Kubrick, Orson Welles, Woody Allen. I love Glenn Gould, Dave Burbeck, Oscar Peterson, Vladmir Horowitz and the Tin Hat Trio. I collect their photos like I collect porn, but I can never spell their names right.

I don't drink coffee and I never sleep in lectures. It's better to sleep in.
